Concession Duty

It wouldn't be a baseball game without the hot dogs and snow cones and its takes all of us to keep the concession stand open.  Each team is responsible for the following :

  • Three Concession Duty Shifts - approximately 3 hrs a shift
  • Each Shift requires 3-4 volunteers per shift depending on what Concession Stand you are scheduled for. (Babe Ruth will need 3 volunteers and Main Concession will need 4.)
  • All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your shift so our Concession Manager can give you a quick tutorial if needed.

If a team fails to staff their scheduled date, they will be forced to forfeit a game for every shift missed.  Nobody wants that!

To find out when your team is scheduled for duty, please click both of the links below to find out.  There are two links, one is for the Babe Ruth Concession, located by field 5, 6 and 7 and the other is for the Main Concession, located by field 1.

If you have questions, please contact one of our Board Members or email us at TulareBaseball@gmail.com and we'd be happy to help!

2024 Food Drive Challenge

When : During the month of April, Tulare Baseball will be accepting canned and boxed food items on Saturdays ONLY in between Fields 2 and 3. The program kicks off Saturday, April 6th and concludes Saturday, April 27th.  The winners will be announced the evening of April 27th.

What Can Be Donated : Donations include all non-perishable canned and boxed food items.  Please no candy, energy drinks, sodas, fresh food, etc.

Who Can Participate : All teams from all divisions are invited to participate and compete in their age group.

Where Is Drop Off : Donations will be accepted in between Fields 2 and 3, where a volunteer will be stationed to accept and tally your items.

How Does The Contest Work : The top two teams per age division who donate the most canned and boxed food items will win a spot in the pizza party wiffle ball game.  Each item will count as 1 point, therefore the top two teams in each age division with the most points win.  If there is a tie, the winner will be decided by a coin toss. The top two teams in each division will get to play each other in a wiffle ball game with a sponsored pizza party the evening of Friday, May 3rd at the Tulare Baseball Park! Time and details to be confirmed but it's going to be a lot of fun!

Why Are We Doing This : We are hosting this food drive in partnership with the Lighthouse Rescue Mission in Tulare because we believe in the importance of giving back to our community who so generously supports our organization.  It's a great opportunity to teach our young players what it means to give back and help those in need.
